In connection with your use of our Sites and Social Media Pages, we may collect personal information such as your name, mailing address, phone number, e-mail address, credit card number, billing and/or shipping information, as well as your age, personal interests and product preferences. While using our Sites, we may ask that you provide personal information when, for example, you:

• Participate in other activities with R.E. Whittaker

We may also allow you to use your personal social media account to provide information to us when you participate in certain features on our Sites. This information may include any information you have shared on your personal social media accounts such as profile picture, gender, networks, user ID, list of friends, birthday, education, work history, likes, and address. It is possible that we will be able to continue collecting this information from your personal social media account should the information be revised later. You may choose not to provide us with certain requested information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of some of the features on our Sites. Our Privacy Policy does not cover the privacy and security practices of the social media site on which R.E. Whittaker has its social media pages.

In addition to the personal information which you provide R.E. Whittaker as set forth above, we may also collect personal information through technology and from third parties.  Information observed or collected through technology includes navigational information and location information.

Navigational Information. Navigational information, such as the following, is collected by us and our third party service providers when you use our Sites:

• browser type and version operating system
• the Internet service provider used to access our Sites
• IP Address
• use of links to arrive at our Sites
• web pages requested and viewed
• time spent on our Sites

Mobile Information.  We or third-parties may collect additional information from you if you access our Sites through a mobile device (e.g., your unique device identifier, unique device token to facilitate push notifications through mobile apps, your device’s advertising identifier, device’s operating system, identifiers associated with equipment or systems used in connection with your device (e.g., an identifier of a Wi-Fi router or Internet access point), mobile manufacturer or carrier, mobile or data network systems or operators, other providers of other apps or code on your device, anyone who has administrative privileges to devices you use, location or GPS/geo-location, mobile number).

Location Information.  Our Sites and emails include features that may require collecting different types of location information that we then use for the specific feature you have selected. For example our emails may use your IP Address to determine the postal code where you are located when you open the email, which allows us to tailor content to you.

Information Obtained From Third Parties.  We may combine information about you from other sources with the information we have collected about you on our Sites or Social Media Pages.

We use the personal information you provide and which we collect through other sources for purposes including, but not limited to:

• Fulfilling requests for products, services or information
• Tracking and confirming online orders
• Delivering products
• Providing customer services

R.E. Whittaker does not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. However, R.E. Whittaker may share customer information with certain third parties such as our agents, service providers and other representatives acting on our behalf for limited purposes. • Sending marketing communications for R.E. Whittaker
• Delivering packages
• Servicing products
• Providing cloud based and hosting services

We also reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we, in good faith, believe to be unlawful. If R.E. Whittaker were ever merged with or acquired by another company, or if we acquire another business entity or are involved in a corporate reorganization or other change of control, or if we sell substantially all the assets of a division, affiliate or subsidiary, some or all of the personal information collected about you could be shared with the acquiring or acquired company.

We may also share aggregated data with third parties for analysis and research purposes. This data does not contain name, address or other personally identifiable information.

Marketing Communications.  Once you provide your personal information, we may use it to send you offers, promotions, and other marketing and customer experience content.

If you no longer wish to receive these communications, let us know by using whichever of the following methods is appropriate under the circumstances:

If you send an email or letter request, please be sure to include your full name, address, phone number and email address, as well as the specific changes you would like to make. This will ensure we correctly identify you in our systems and accurately process your request. R.E. Whittaker will take the appropriate steps to modify your preferences with respect to our marketing communications, but it may take some time to process your request. Consequently, until your requested change takes effect, you may still receive marketing communications from us. Even if you opt-out of receiving marketing communications you may still receive non-marketing emails, such as customer service communications.

Location Information:

Mobile Device Location Information. Your mobile device settings may allow you to disable location-based services, which will prevent our Sites from accessing your precise mobile device location information.  We recommend you review the help or user manual provided with your device for instructions.

Desktop Device Location Information. Your desktop web browser may allow you to remove permission you granted through your desktop device for our Sites to access your location information and/or completely block requests for location information.  We recommend you review the help or user manual provided with your browser for instructions.

Email Location Information. Your email program may allow you to prevent the pixel tags or images in the emails you receive from us from downloading, which will also prevent our service provider from accessing your location information. You can also unsubscribe from our emails as explained above.

Under California law, if you are a resident of California and have previously communicated with us, you may make a written request to R.E. Whittaker about how we have shared your personal information during the prior calendar year with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.  In response to your written request, pursuant to Section 1798.83(c)(2) of the California Civil Code, R.E. Whittaker is allowed to provide you with a cost-free means to opt-out of such sharing rather than providing the information about these third parties.  We are providing the opportunity to opt out, which you can do by submitting an opt out request to info@whittakersystem.com that includes your name and all of the postal addresses, email addresses, and other contact information that you have provided to us.

R.E. Whittaker uses reasonable security measures to protect the confidentiality of personal information under our control and appropriately limit access to it. However, R.E. Whittaker cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our third party service providers use “cookies.” Cookies are small data files that assign a unique identification to your device, and are typically stored on your device by your web browser. We may also use pixel tags (also known as web beacons, web bugs, and clear GIFs) on our Sites and in Emails. A pixel tag is a nearly invisible pixel-sized graphic image on a webpage or in an email message.

We and our third party service providers use cookies, pixel tags and similar technology to collect information about things like: your interactions with our Sites and with our advertisements; the times you visit our Sites; confirmation when you open email from us, including the time you open the email and whether you click on any links in the email; and the sites you visit after visiting one of our Sites.  You may set your web browser to notify you when you receive a cookie or to not accept certain cookies.  However, if you decide not to accept cookies from our Sites, you may not be able to take advantage of all of the features on our Sites. 

We use information collected through cookies and similar technology for many of the same purposes listed in the Section above titled “How We May Use Your Personal Information.” In addition, cookies and similar technology are used for things like personalizing your experience on our Sites, analyzing trends, determining return visitors, serving tailored advertisements on other sites, and measuring the effectiveness of our advertising. 

We do not knowingly or intentionally collect personal information online from children under the age of 13.
